My friend and I made these recipes this past weekend before hitting D.C. All I could think while downing these drinks was how people NEED these exact recipes, it couldn't have taken us more than six minutes, tops. Bars and people put their own spins and ratios on their drinks but we were verrrrry content with the key lime pie taste of the Moscow Mule, and the tropical easy breeziness of what I decided to call it, the Pineapple Crush. Thank us later!
The Moscow Mule

1/2 Lime, squeezed
1-1/2 shots of Pinnacle Whipped Vodka
Sparkling Green tea wine, poured, poured to preference
Q Ginger beer, poured to preference
Don't forget to stir to concoction. If you're feeling extra, shave some lime on the top for even more of an invigorating aroma!
This ginger beer brand made a huge difference on the taste for me, really softened the curtness of the liquor:

Pineapple Crush

(Photo: I Wash You Dry Blog)
1-2 shots of New Amsterdam Vodka
Lemonade, poured to preference
1/2 squeezed lime
Optional/Nice add: Orange or Pineapple juice
An easy mix, for sure. The vodka I'll tag is important, that alone leaves nice hints of pineapple which is why I listed the additional juices as optional, it's that smooth:

As summer comes to a close I hope these 5-8 min refreshments make your drink bucket list! (because, who doesn't have one at this point?). Whatever drink you choose to cool down with, I wish you a happy sipping and warm, non mosquito munching days to come.
