Learning About Myself Through Astrology

In the journey of finding myself I’ve taken an interest in astrology and tarot cards. Though I haven’t really dove into the tarot cards yet, I have taken a look at my sign, Cancer, and here are the things I found interesting or that I resonated with:

I have a Cardinal personality. That means I’m receptive, sensitive, imaginative, and possess an active, intuitive mind. The ruling planet, or planet associated with Cancer is the Moon, which governs emotions and intuitive behavior. I never understood my glyph sign, in fact I thought it was ugly at first, but the glyph happens to be two circles of suns connecting to two moons. The connected suns represent force and energy expressed through imagination and emotions. The moons represent Cancer’s desire to store possessions/memories. I definitely resonate with glyph in that I thrive off of my imagination and emotions. I often do things based off of my emotions, and I’m often daydreaming and imagining about my life.

Cancerians love food and actually may have to fight off weight gain in the later years (which explains my low key addiction to carbs, desserts and thai food! My lucky day is Monday which explains why I was never really one to hate on Mondays and never felt the weight of the weekend, I was actually more or less refreshed, or at the very least, ready. My lucky/special colors are sea green and silver, the colors of the sea and the moon. I’ve played around with silver and gold jewelry but never sea green, so I’ll have to add that to my wardrobe!
