What I Eat In A Week (to lose weight)

Breakfasts

- Yogurt with granola, if I'm still hungry I'll munch on some trail mix, that's pretty much the only way I'll get my nutty proteins, chasing it alongside sugary candies. My favorite trail mix right now is Archer Farm's Monster, which has nuts and raisins with some good 'ol M+M's.

-Bacon, Egg and Cheese on a Bagel

- Classic cereals from Cinnamon Toast Crunch + Fruity Pebbles to Multi Grain Cheerios, we call that balance folks(;

- The good 'ol carb, fruit, protein mix. I usually go for this if I have a morning shift at work. I'll grab something like a muffin, pastry, roll, something carb, get a banana usually (they are the cheapest fruit to purchase btw), maybe an orange if I need the extra wake up kick

-I'll either have a smoothie, black tea no sugar or cream or light roast coffee with the Coffee Mate French Vanilla creamer, cinnamon, and whipped cream, because I'm no monster to myself. People quit diets when it doesn't align with their lives. I don't stop eating the things I love, I just look out for healthier ways to make that thing, or add healthy foods to the recipe itself.

Lunches

I'm usually at work by this time. If I am, depending on the shift I either get a 15 or 30 minute break including the time it takes to get my food get through a line of customers and actually eat and let the food digest, so I'll opt in for something quick like:

-Smoothies and fruit

-Pizza Slice

-Burrito

-Quesadilla

-Sandwich

-Chicken

-Shrimp California rolls

Dinners

By the time I get home work I'm usually not in the mood to play Rachel Ray. I might have picked up:

A Frozen Pizza,

Some Ready To Cook Wings,

Something pre-made like dumplings (still paying mind to the ingredients and nutritional value).

On the other side of it, when I do have the mind space to go about making dinner, my newest favorite meal are lettuce wraps made with butter lettuce, shrimp, noodles (I'm cheap so I literally used ramen, no packet), with veggies of choice, mine were peppers and kale. I added cilantro and lemon juice for some zing.

I also may make a ramen bowl, with eggs, sliced chicken, carrots, kale, and even chopped green beans and celery.

A classic burger and whatever side you're feeling is always good to know how to do,

And then I always have a "guest recipe" for when friends come and its basically rainbow pasta with pesto and pasta of choice, peppers, I like all colors, carrots, corn, kale and vegan Italian sausage.

Desserts

I will never cut sweets out of my life, not as long as there's no urgent need to.

Sometimes I'll butter up a tortilla and put some cinnamon and sugar on it, and then again sometimes it's that kind of day where I need a fat cake slice or good ice cream face stuffing.

If I could add one tidbit about weight loss it would be that I just hope it's for you, and not so you can fit in with the gram, get him or her to wanna text you back, or because you think you're ugly. Beauty is found within; what you do to take care of yourself and others will say more about you in the long run than 4 pack abs ever could. I like not feeling like I need a nap after every meal, I love not feeling like I'm restraining myself, I don't even own a scale, I notice success in my energy levels and in my clothes being too big. It's not a race, we will get where we want to go, one step at a time.
